Russia not on EU’s new list to remove travel restrictions

BRUSSELS, Jul 30 (PRIME) -- Russia has not been included into the E.U.’s third list on removal of restrictions to travel to the E.U., the E.U. Council said on Thursday.

The E.U. did not add any countries to the list, but excluded Algeria.

Thus, now the recommendations include only 12 (out of the original 15) states: Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay, as well as China, subject to confirmation of reciprocity in the matter of opening borders.

In accordance with the recommendations of the European Commission, the lists should be updated every two weeks.
